2738 Steel (Plastic Mold Steel) Properties

2738 steel is the most preferred material among plastic molds. Thanks to its homogeneous hardness distribution and high surface brightness after heat treatment, 2738 steel provides a great advantage to the user during use. The hardness range is 290-330 HB. (Approximately 28-32HRc) It is a steel suitable for surface hardening with nitration.
