2738 HH Steel (40HRc) Properties

2738 HH Steel (40HRc) is the harder (40HRc) type of 2738 steel, which is the most preferred material among tire molds. It has higher wear resistance and flammability. Thanks to its homogeneous hardness distribution and high surface gloss after heat treatment, it provides a great advantage to the user during use. 2738 steel is a steel suitable for surface hardening with nitriding.
