1.2343 (Extra Fine Structure, EFS)
2343 Steel Properties
2343 steel is a standard hot work tool steel with high thermal conductivity and toughness. This steel, which is produced by minimizing the sulfur and phosphorus ratio, can be improved by applying nitration process. All 2343 steels in Önerler stocks are Extra Fine Structure, that is, extra thin. This makes the steel much more homogeneous, thus tougher. Dimensional changes after heat treatment are minimized.
