2767 Steel (Impact Steel) Properties
2767 steel is a cold work tool steel with high hardenability and very high toughness. It is also called impact steel due to its very high toughness.
Thanks to the high amount of nickel in its alloy, it can be polished. Therefore, 2767 steel is preferred in some plastic molds.
