1.3343 (Electro Slag Remelted, ESR)

3343 Steel ESR (High Speed Steel, HSS) Properties

3343 steel is the standard and most commonly used high speed steel with high hardness and toughness. It is suitable for EDM cutting, welding, PVD, and CVD coating.

The 3343 steels in our company's stocks are ESR, which means that they are melted twice to produce a structurally cleaner steel. This allows it to have higher toughness. It reduces your cost by giving higher performance.
