Vacuum Brazing

General Information

In this joining method carried out in a vacuum environment, the filler material with a lower melting temperature is selected compared to the materials to be combined. In order to apply the process, it is necessary to reach higher temperatures than the melting temperature of the filler material.

Since this method is carried out under vacuum, there is no risk of oxidation on the material surfaces. Another advantage of this process is that it is applied to parts with complex geometry and that a large number of materials are soldered in a single process.

In our company, vacuum furnaces that can vacuum up to 10-5 mbar levels are used for this process.
